Company Formation

Set-Up A Business

We can help you understand the ins and outs of different corporations on taxation and liability.

Limited Liability Company

There are multiple explanations why people see the Limited Liability Company (LLC) as the best business structure for smaller companies in recent times. The prime reason is that it is less costly to establish as compared to the other corporations.

Generally, C Corps and S Corps provide LLCs to the people who own a business. Likewise, LLC takes care of the limited liability protection to its proprietors. That means if a business owns a liability, it is stringently restricted to that specific business. It won’t have anything to do with other businesses that run in a particular niche. Plus, it won’t affect the private assets of any other business.

Not to be outdone, LLC is not chargeable to federal income taxation at the business entity level. In short, the company’s income taxes reflect on each owner’s tax return.

S-Corporation

Many people start a business with the hope that one day the business will leave all the competitors behind in growth and popularity. Not to forget, when the profit of a company goes up the roof, the rate of tax increases as well.

Therefore, companies with the potential to grow quickly experience many unexpected hurdles in the journey, especially when they have to clear the taxes. That’s when there is a need to initiate S Corporation. Companies running on a small scale can easily manage the tax-related issues with S-Corporation.

C-Corporation

A C Corporation is a famous business entity structure that is present nationwide. In this legal structure, the owners are supposed to pay the taxes separately from the business entity. This is a distinctive method of getting ownership of a business. Also, it doesn’t have similarities with Limited Liability Companies (LLCs), S Corporations, and Sole Proprietorships, among others.

The owners can have a share of the profits of the company. Nevertheless, the liabilities of the business are separate from the executives, investors, and shareholders.

Non-Profit Corporation

The chief purpose of the Non-profit Corporation is not only to produce revenue. It operates in a different way as compared to the LLC, S-Corp, and C-Corp. Such a corporation works to deliver profit to the employees. In other words, nothing from the profit goes into the personal asset of the owners.

The Non-Profit Corporation works to pay the regular salaries of the workers employed in the corporation.
